The most annoying thing is . . . it’s not your fault
Unfortunately for a variety of reasons, we don’t all experience regular deep, restful sleep
In fact
you may be one of those people who battles insomnia on a regular basis, which has massive negative effects on your overall health. There are obviously many causes for this. Hectic work and family life, stress, anxiety and all kinds of medical conditions can mean that you are not getting the recommended 8 to 10 hours of sleep every night.
When you’ve had a stressful or very busy day, it can be hard to wind down at bedtime.
Maybe you have children to look after and by the time you have them tucked up in their beds you feel frazzled, wired and ready for bed yourself, but you know what . . . you just can’t switch off.
